My Story
Whew chileeee! So let's get to it. I am absolutely familiar with "life lifing"! As a mother of two boys I am constantly doing the balancing act because the responsibility of raising my two kings is on me! The balancing act is an art and I've been making a mural figuratively speaking. There have been many pivotal points in my life that have caused me to reevaluate what I was doing or the vision in for my life. I've finally arrived to a point of freedom, fearlessness and "kicking down the doors" and defying societal norms and expectations. I realized that meeting the "expectations" of others and trying to present what I thought was "perfect" turned into a vehicle for disaster and disappointment. The peace came from just BEING! Sitting with myself and trying to decide what is best for ME and how do I want it to look. Once I realized that I could be a great mom AND be unapologetically MIISHA...all bets were off. Life is meant to be lived and I am doing so with a great attitude, great kids and balance to achieve all that is desired!
